Dovebrook Roast Dinner
A decadent feast, with your choice of centrepiece options:
Centrepiece:
1. Our signature Dovebrook Nut Roast with crunchy peanut, cashew and almond nut roast sandwiching a layer of juicy cranberry sauce and a sharp and creamy blue cheese that melts in the mouth.
2. Mushroom Wellington: handmade puff pastry with a layer of chesnut pureé, caramelised red onions, chesnut mushrooms, sweet potato, spinach, cranberries, and pine nuts. Aromatic notes of tarragon, rosemary, and thyme.
3. A Mushroom and Tofu pie, cooked in mustard and white wine and served in delicious (vegan) buttery pastry.
4. A Forester's Pie with sautéed mushrooms and carrots in a deep aromatic sauce.
To accompany each roast we provide several sumptuous and hearty sides.
Sides:
- Perfectly golden roasted potatoes cooked with saffron, toasted flaked almonds, lemon zest, thyme and slow roasted garlic - the ultimate indulgence.
- Juicy sweet and sour red cabbage, lightly braised with red wine, balsamic vinegar, apple, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, toasted walnuts, blue cheese and parsley.
- Beautiful braised carrots and kohlrabi cooked with with mustard, red wine vinegar & parsley.
- Brussel sprouts and braised Savoy cabbage cooked with chestnuts, slow roasted shallots and smoky tempeh bacon.
