French Onion Soup
A warming, traditional French soup with sliced white onions and puy lentils braised in an umami stock of rosemary, thyme and sage and finished with a generous splash of brandy.

Serve with crusty bread, and a peppery watercress and rocket salad.
For best results, microwave straight from the freezer:
Microwave (850W):
Single portion (385g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Small Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 3 minutes with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 3 minutes with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.
Double portion (770g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Medium Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 6 minutes with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 5 minutes with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.
