Braised Red Cabbage with Blue 'Cheese' and Walnuts

Juicy sweet and sour red cabbage, lightly braised with red wine, balsamic vinegar, apple, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, toasted walnuts, blue cheese and parsley.

Microwave (850W):

For two (240g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Small Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 1.5 mins with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 1.5 mins with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.

For four (480g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Small Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 2 mins with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 2.5 mins with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.

Oven (fan):

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.

For two (240g) - Take the red cabbage out of the compostable bag and place on a baking tray, cover with foil or a lid, and place in the oven. Cook the red cabbage for 40 minutes. Stand for one minute, then serve.

For four (480g) - Take the red cabbage out of the compostable bag and place on a baking tray, cover with foil or a lid, and place in the oven. Cook the red cabbage for 40 minutes. Stand for one minute, then serve.
