Celeriac Soup with Burnt Pear Purée & Hazelnut Pesto

Earthy celeriac soup with notes of bay leaves & spices blended with a sweet and salty caramelised burnt pear purée and topped with a crunchy rosemary hazelnut pesto. This soup is a comforting warm hug of a dish with the lovely sweet and salty flavours running through it. Serve with a crusty sourdough roll.

Serve with warm crusty sourdough.
For best results, microwave straight from the freezer:
Microwave (850W): Remove compostable vacuum pouch and place in the correct sized Glass Dish, as instructed on the label. Heat for 3 mins with lid off (4.5 minutes for a double portion). Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for further 3 mins with lid on (4.5 minutes for a double portion). Stand for 1 min, then serve.
Hob
Allow to defrost in a suitable saucepan. Warm on a gentle heat stirring regularly until piping hot. Do not allow to boil.
