Braised Carrots and Kohlrabi

Beautifully braised carrots and kohlrabi cooked with mustard, red wine vinegar, and parsley.

Serve with our Dovebrook Roast or as a side dish to the Mushroom Rosti, Persian Dried Lime Stew or Tagine or part of a spread.

Microwave (850W):

For two (240g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Small Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 1.5 mins with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 1.5 mins with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.

For four (480g) - Remove the compostable pouch and place your meal in the Small Glass Dish, or any microwave proof bowl. Heat for 2.5 mins with lid off. Gently break apart the centre with a fork. Cook for a further 2.5 mins with lid on/covered. Stand for 1 minute, then serve.

Oven (fan):

Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.

Single portion (240g) - Take the carrots out of the compostable bag and place on a baking tray, cover with foil or a lid, and place in the oven. Cook for 40 minutes.

Double portion (480g) - Take the carrots out of the compostable bag and place on a baking tray, cover with foil or a lid, and place in the oven. Cook for 40 minutes.
